What public bodies said, and what the record shows

Every entry below is either a statement by or about a public institution that a named reviewer has checked against official records, parliamentary transcripts or other published documents, or an official record released on its own. Entries are published deliberately by the organisation that released them, and each one links to the material that settles it.

How to read this register

Supported means the available records confirm the statement as made. Contradicted means they show it to be wrong. Disputed means credible records conflict and no single conclusion can be drawn.

Opinion is never graded as fact and is published only as such. An entry is a check of one statement at one point in time, not a judgement of a person or an institution. Where the position later changes, a new record supersedes the older one.
