Cookies and local storage
PoliSentinel uses a small number of storage entries. They keep the workspace working and secure. There are no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies on this site.

| Entry | Purpose | Kept for |
|---|---|---|
| Session and authentication | Keeps you signed in, protects against forged requests and holds the second factor state. | Until sign out, or up to 30 days with remember me |
| Workspace preferences | Remembers the interface language, table columns and last filters you chose. | Up to 12 months |
| Security and rate limiting | Recognises repeated failed sign-in attempts and holds the shared briefing password state. | Session |
Why there is no consent banner
Everything stored is needed to deliver the service you signed in to use, or to remember a preference you set yourself. No analytics, advertising or third-party tracking entry is placed on this site, so there is nothing optional to consent to.
Controlling storage
You can clear cookies and local storage in your browser settings at any time. Clearing the session entry signs you out; clearing preferences only resets the interface back to its defaults.
A briefing link is opened without an account. The password you enter there is checked on the server and is not stored in your browser beyond the page session.
Changes
If a new storage entry is introduced, for example a product analytics tool, this page is updated and an option to refuse it is added before it is switched on.
