Terms
Terms of service
These terms govern use of the PoliSentinel platform, including any briefing link you create and share with a third party.

1. Agreement
By creating a workspace, joining one or opening a briefing link, you accept these terms. If you accept them on behalf of an organization, you confirm you are allowed to bind it. If you do not accept them, do not use the service.
2. The service
PoliSentinel collects publicly available coverage, matches it to entities you define, classifies sentiment and risk, and lets your team check claims, prepare briefings and record findings. Features and limits depend on the plan attached to the workspace.
The service is a working aid. Machine generated matches, sentiment labels, summaries and suggested verdicts can be wrong. A person in your organization is responsible for what is published, sent or shared off the platform.
3. Accounts
You need an account to use a workspace. Keep credentials confidential, enable a second factor where it is offered, and tell us without delay if an account is compromised. You are responsible for activity under your account and for the roles you grant to colleagues.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the service to:
- publish a statement you know to be untrue, or present an allegation as a verified fact;
- target a private individual who is not acting in a public capacity;
- harass, threaten or coordinate a campaign against a person;
- collect data by scraping that breaches a source's terms or applicable law;
- attempt to access another workspace, probe the platform for vulnerabilities without our written permission, or resell access to the service.
5. Your content and your sources
You keep ownership of the entities, notes, claims, briefings and source registrations you enter. You grant us the limited licence needed to store, process, display and back them up for your workspace. You are responsible for having a lawful basis for the personal data you put into the platform, and for respecting the rights notes and retention windows attached to each source.
Third party articles remain the property of their publishers. The platform stores excerpts, links and analysis, and does not grant you republication rights.
6. Plans and payment
Paid plans are billed in advance for the interval selected. A trial ends automatically unless a plan is started. Fees are exclusive of taxes, which are added where they apply. Plan and billing changes are made in the workspace settings and take effect at the next renewal unless stated otherwise.
7. Availability and support
We work to keep the service available and to give notice of planned maintenance, but continuous availability is not guaranteed. Collection of a given source may be delayed or interrupted by the publisher, by rate limits or by changes on their side.
8. Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of reputation, or decisions taken on the basis of machine assisted output. Our total liability for a claim relating to the service is limited to the fees paid for the twelve months before the claim.
9. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend a workspace that materially breaches these terms, that is used to harass a person, or where a lawful instruction requires it. On termination, the workspace can be exported for a stated period before deletion under our retention schedule.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus. The courts of Nicosia have jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections.
